DRAWN BACK TO SOURCE
A beckon from on high
Calling back to source
The echoes as of love
I heed the masters call
Strayed for wants unmet
Delay resembles denial
Waiting Heart made weary
With Hope long deferred
Sought self alternate help
Values in compromise bent
This way seemeth right
Ended enroute destruction
Recalibrated back on track
In Him I found my way
With wide open arms
Was lost but now I am found

HATE SPEECH
Hate Speech
Words that pierces the heart like razor
Bringing strong divide against oneness
Killing morale and breeding bitter spite
Capable of splitting man against man
it's poisonous venom can defy antidote
Causing damages even between allies
The impact so devastating beyond repair
It's better not uttered than retracted
The colour of our skin may differ
But the same hue of blood runs in our vein
Lines may divide us into ethnic groups
But we all are of one race, the human race
Our world needs love at such a time as this
Not words that will pull us further apart
Rather than speeches that frays temper
We should speak of strength in diversity
Enough of utterances of mass destruction
Enough of fueling unwarranted divisions
Enough of abusing the very essence of words
With one voice we Say no to Hate Speech
